For people with ALS, or who cannot speak, and their families
An ALS communication app that keeps the person's own voice
An ALS communication app has one job above all others: keep the person's voice as the speech muscles weaken. ExpressAgain records a short sample early and turns it into a cloned voice, so tap-to-speak, the sentence builder and Letters all sound like the person, not a machine.
What is already built
The patient's own cloned voice
A short recording becomes a personal voice, so I love you sounds like the patient. Until it is ready a clear built-in voice speaks.

The ALS & Parkinson's library
Short phrases for needs right now, breathing support (the BiPAP, the mask, the cough assist), moving and the body, medicine timing, eating and swallowing, talking and the voice (please use my voice, I want to bank my voice), equipment, decisions and planning, feelings, and yes and no.

The Letters board
An on-screen alphabet board: spell a word letter by letter, hear it, and Share sends it as a note to family and friends and to the care team.

Today: a cloned voice, the ALS phrases, the Letters board and the papers that keep the person's decisions theirs.

How it works
Create a free account: your name, email, a password and who the app is for (yourself, someone you care for, a patient, or an organization).
The guided setup takes four short steps: who the app is for and the condition mode, text and button sizes, a voice and the first people, then a review.
Tap any phrase on Communicate to say it out loud; invite family with a personal link and give each clinician or professional a code from the Care Team page.
Questions people ask
Is it free to start?
Yes. Free is where everyone starts, and communicating is never behind a paywall: tap to speak, the phrase boards, the sentence builder, Letters, the Phrase Library, lessons, Games and Play, the emergency screen, the Emergency Plan Card and the built-in voice. Free also invites 2 family members to the Family and Friends Feed. The Pricing page shows the plans side by side.
What happens after I sign up?
Sign up asks for your name, email and a password, and who the app is for. Then the guided setup takes four short steps: who the app is for and the condition mode, text and button sizes, a voice and the first people, then a review. Entering the patient's name and date of birth pins the two phrases hospitals ask for constantly.
When should the voice be recorded?
As early as possible, while speaking is still comfortable. Record from Settings or upload a recording; a short sample becomes a personal voice, and a clear built-in voice speaks until it is ready.
Can the person still make their own decisions?
Yes. The library has decisions and planning phrases, Signing Mode holds nine quiet answers for a signing with an attorney, and the state forms never fill in the patient's choices.
