For families looking for help at home

In-home care for dementia, the same routine whoever is on the shift

In-home care for dementia takes more than kindness: the right professional does not argue with a confused reality, redirects gently and keeps the routine steady. ExpressAgain writes that routine once in the day plan, so every person on the shift does the morning the same way, and keeps the calm phrases and the familiar faces one tap away.

What is already built

Alzheimer's & Dementia Care

Steady daily routines that reduce overwhelm, validation-based communication (reassure, don't argue), safety supervision and wandering prevention at home, two-choice questions and unhurried conversation, and close coordination with the family through the shared care plan.

The day plan

The patient's real day in time blocks, written once by the family: each block with its steps, a how-to video and a checklist, read as a story for a new sitter's first day or printed as a timeline. The professional ticks each step and the log keeps who did it and when.

The Everyday & Familiar phrases

Short, plain phrases for needs right now, where am I and what's happening, the people I love (with the names from My People), feeling unsettled, calm and comfort, the daily routine, help me remember, yes and no, and feelings, first in the library when the Dementia and Senior Care mode is chosen.

Familiar faces on My People

Family, friends, church, school and work with a photo beside each name, so the patient recognizes the face, and a Speak button beside each name.

How it works

  1. Post a care request on the Marketplace: your name, email and phone, the ZIP code where care happens, the type of care, what you will pay, the tasks, a credential if one is needed, when, and a few lines about the patient. Sending it creates your free ExpressAgain account so you can track it.

  2. The professionals near you whose rate for your distance, tasks, credential and travel limit fit are matched the moment the request is saved and emailed at once; each answer comes straight to your inbox with the professional's message and contact details.

  3. Choose the person: send the questionnaire from Find a team member, agree the rate, sign the agreement, and the professional joins My Home Team and works from the family's shared care plan, the day plan and the shift checklists.

Questions people ask

Is it free to start?

Yes. There is no charge to post a care request, and sending it creates your free ExpressAgain account so you can track it under Your care requests on Marketplace Home. Free is where everyone starts, the Pricing page shows the plans side by side, and no price is written on this page.

What happens after I post a request?

The request goes live on the Open Care Requests board with your name masked, and the professionals in your ZIP area who match are emailed at once; the thank-you shows who matched right now and names the account it created. Each answer arrives in your inbox with the professional's message and contact details, and Your care requests on Marketplace Home lists every request with how many answered.

Can I find someone with dementia training?

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care is a service a professional ticks on the Marketplace, a credential on file can include dementia training and shows with its type and expiry, and the questionnaire asks about skills and references before you hire.

What happens on a hard day?

The professional logs what happened in Quick log under their own name, Angry or Aggressive with how it showed; when no UTI test was logged in the last seven days, one line under the entry says a sudden change in behavior can be a sign of a UTI in older adults and links to Log a UTI test, and the care team reads it on the feed.

Post what you need once. Professionals near you answer, and the family chooses.
