In-home care for Parkinson's, where medicine timing is the whole day

In-home care for Parkinson's turns on medicine timing, because a dose late by an hour can be an afternoon lost. ExpressAgain keeps every medication's times on the Prescriptions page, asks the professional when a dose is due and logs it the moment it is given, and gives the patient the phrases for medicine timing and moving at one tap.

What is already built

Medication Support

Medication reminders and organizer support at the aide level, administration, injections and insulin by licensed nurses, every dose confirmed in the shared medication log, refill tracking so nothing runs out on a Sunday night, and side effects flagged to the family and the care team.

Medication schedules and the dose reminder

Set times, or every so many hours from the first dose, per medication. When a set is due, a pop-up asks and Given now logs it, and a notification reaches whoever manages the account and the care team, naming only which dose is due.

The ALS & Parkinson's phrases

It's time for my medicine, my medicine is wearing off, I'm on now, I'm off now, I'm freezing and can't move my feet, I'm going to fall, my hands are shaking, and eating and swallowing, spoken at full volume with one tap.

How the patient moved, logged

Under Moving around in Quick log the professional picks steady, needed help, weak, legs gave out, nearly fell or refused and writes what they saw; legs gave out or nearly fell alerts the care team at once, like a fall.

Today: medication support as a service, a reminder when a dose is due, the Parkinson's phrases at one tap, and every near-fall logged.

Prescriptions: each medication with its times, and the dose log.

How it works

  1. Post a care request on the Marketplace: your name, email and phone, the ZIP code where care happens, the type of care, what you will pay, the tasks, a credential if one is needed, when, and a few lines about the patient. Sending it creates your free ExpressAgain account so you can track it.

  2. The professionals near you whose rate for your distance, tasks, credential and travel limit fit are matched the moment the request is saved and emailed at once; each answer comes straight to your inbox with the professional's message and contact details.

  3. Choose the person: send the questionnaire from Find a team member, agree the rate, sign the agreement, and the professional joins My Home Team and works from the family's shared care plan, the day plan and the shift checklists.

Questions people ask

Is it free to start?

Yes. There is no charge to post a care request, and sending it creates your free ExpressAgain account so you can track it under Your care requests on Marketplace Home. Free is where everyone starts, the Pricing page shows the plans side by side, and no price is written on this page.

What happens after I post a request?

The request goes live on the Open Care Requests board with your name masked, and the professionals in your ZIP area who match are emailed at once; the thank-you shows who matched right now and names the account it created. Each answer arrives in your inbox with the professional's message and contact details, and Your care requests on Marketplace Home lists every request with how many answered.

Can an aide give the medication?

It depends on the state. Medication assistance or reminders and Medication administration are separate tasks on the request; an aide matches for administration only where the state's rule allows that credential, in Texas only when a registered nurse delegates it, and never where the rule is not confirmed yet. A shift marked as giving medication has a hard stop for anyone not allowed to.

Does the patient have the words for an off period?

Yes. The ALS & Parkinson's library has it's time for my medicine, my medicine is wearing off, I'm on now, I'm off now, I'm freezing and can't move my feet, I'm going to fall and my hands are shaking, spoken at full volume with one tap.

Post what you need once. Professionals near you answer, and the family chooses.
