For people with aphasia and the families around them
A communication app for aphasia that starts with what the person already knows
A communication app for aphasia should lean on what aphasia often leaves intact: reading and recognizing. ExpressAgain shows the real things a person in this situation wants to say, so the patient picks and the app speaks, instead of asking for words that will not come.
What is already built
Build a message piece by piece
Starters like I am, What about and Let's open long lists of the real things a person in this situation wants to say. Speak the result, save it for later or star it.

Type, and spell with Letters
Type lets a family member type anything and have it spoken. Letters is an on-screen alphabet board: spell a word letter by letter, hear it, and Share sends it as a note to family and friends and to the care team.

How it works
Create a free account: your name, email, a password and who the app is for (yourself, someone you care for, a patient, or an organization).
The guided setup takes four short steps: who the app is for and the condition mode, text and button sizes, a voice and the first people, then a review.
Tap any phrase on Communicate to say it out loud; invite family with a personal link and give each clinician or professional a code from the Care Team page.
Questions people ask
Is it free to start?
Yes. Free is where everyone starts, and communicating is never behind a paywall: tap to speak, the phrase boards, the sentence builder, Letters, the Phrase Library, lessons, Games and Play, the emergency screen, the Emergency Plan Card and the built-in voice. Free also invites 2 family members to the Family and Friends Feed. The Pricing page shows the plans side by side.
What happens after I sign up?
Sign up asks for your name, email and a password, and who the app is for. Then the guided setup takes four short steps: who the app is for and the condition mode, text and button sizes, a voice and the first people, then a review. Entering the patient's name and date of birth pins the two phrases hospitals ask for constantly.
What if the exact phrase is missing?
Type it. Couldn't find it keeps a typed message that matched nothing, word for word, so the family can add it to the patient's own words, and the Letters board spells anything one letter at a time.
Does it work on bad hospital Wi-Fi?
The phrases and the search ship with the app, so phrase results speak with one tap even on bad hospital Wi-Fi. If a save cannot reach the server, a banner says the latest changes are on this device only, and Retry saving now sends them up.
