Build a message piece by piece

Starters like I am, What about and Let's open lists of real things a person in her situation wants to say.

1 min readUpdated For: patient, family

When a ready-made phrase is not enough, Build a message puts a sentence together from starters and endings. The starters were written for how someone actually feels in this situation — identity intact, being underestimated, mental fatigue, humor, wanting real information, and having opinions about her own care. I am leads the list; What about opens the future (visitors, going outside, her medicine); Let's invites the person in the room to do something with her.

The lists are long on purpose; calm mode shows a few at a time so depth never becomes overwhelm. Tap the finished message to speak it, save it for later, or star it as a favorite.
