How to use
  1. Set the times your household wakes, eats and goes to bed. Medicines taken with a meal follow these times.
  2. Add each medicine: the name, the strength and how much, copied from the label.
  3. Choose how often: at set times of day, every so many hours, on certain days, or as needed.
  4. Check the schedule below the list. A medicine with a mistake shows what to fix and stays off the sheet until it is fixed.
  5. Tap Print the schedule. Whoever gives a dose writes their initials and the time beside it.
Questions
Does the medication schedule builder suggest doses?
No. The builder only lays out what the label, the prescriber or the discharge papers already say. It never changes a dose, never suggests one and never checks for interactions. Ask the pharmacist or the prescriber if anything is unclear.
How does it handle a medicine taken every 8 hours?
Type the time of the first dose and the number of hours. A first dose at 10:00 PM every 8 hours gives 10:00 PM, 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM. When the hours do not divide evenly into a day, such as every 5 hours, the times move each day and the sheet says so.
What about a medicine that is only taken as needed?
An as-needed medicine goes in its own list with no fixed times and blank lines to write down each time it is given, so nothing on the day grid suggests it is due.
How do I enter a medicine whose dose steps down over several days?
Add one row for each step, each with its own start and stop dates, exactly as the prescriber wrote it. The builder does not work out the steps itself.
Is the medication list sent anywhere?
No. The builder runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent to ExpressAgain or saved on a server. If you turn on Remember on this device, only this browser keeps the list.
