Where it is. In the organization panel of a home care or home health agency, Today is the first door in the left menu (on a phone, under the menu button). It greets you by your first name with the agency's name and the date, and it shows only what your role already lets you see: the clients you see on Patients, and only the cards your role may read.
The four numbers. Active clients, with the change from 30 days ago. Active professionals (everyone on Team who is not the office), with the change from 30 days ago. Today's visits: the visits on your clients' weekly schedules today, with how many have not clocked in although the start time has passed. The fourth is EVV ready this week, the share of this week's Medicaid visits that have all six EVV details, when you have a Medicaid client; otherwise it is the visits completed this week. Each number opens its screen.
Live visits today. Every visit on today's schedule in your client homes, with the professional, the client, the time on the home's clock and a status: Scheduled before the start, Checked in, In progress, Completed once clocked out, Late from the start time with no clock-in, and Missed 30 minutes after the start. A visit still clocked in 30 minutes after its end says so. A shift clocked without a visit on the schedule shows as Not on the schedule. The page reads the visits again every minute while it is open.
Needs attention. Missed visits, late clock-outs, open shifts in the next 48 hours with nobody on them, professionals' documents that expired or expire within 14 days (for your administrators and office), your agency license within 30 days, authorizations 80 percent used, over, ending within 14 days or ended (with the money), and a Home Care Team Plan review that is due or overdue (only for people who read the whole plan). The most urgent come first. Each line opens the client, the professional's file, Settings, the plan or Billing.
EVV, billing and the trend. EVV this week is a ring of Ready, Needs a fix and Exception for this week's Medicaid visits, as the EVV page judges them; it says ready, it does not claim anything is compliant. Billing this month, for your administrators and office only, shows what you invoiced this month, what was paid this month, what is outstanding, what is overdue 90 days or more, and how much of this month's invoices is collected, by the same rules as Billing; nothing here is a claim. The visit trend shows the completed visits for each of the last seven days.
Upcoming, clients and hours. Upcoming shifts lists the next 48 hours, open shifts too. Clients shows each client with the lead professional, the next visit and the hours scheduled this week; no diagnosis or medication is shown here. Team hours this week, for your administrators and office, shows each professional's scheduled hours over the availability your agency set for them on Team, or over a 40-hour week when none is set.
Quick add. A row of buttons, a sideways scroll on a phone: Add client, Invite professional, Add shift (opens the client's weekly schedule), Log a visit note (opens the client's Notes), Report an incident, Add medication (opens the client's Medications list) and Upload document (your team's files). Each shows only when your role may do it; the office never gets a visit note or a medication. ExpressAgain has no incident form: Report an incident opens the client's team feed with a post that starts with Incident:, for you to finish and post.
