Sponsorship, in plain words

Sponsored means that party is paying for the patient's access. When an organization or health plan covers your access you are not asked to pay. A health plan comes first; a hospital or a doctor's practice that enrolls the patient can also cover base access, and every practice enrollment covers care management and reports the moment the family accepts.

If a sponsorship ends, a grace period keeps the circle open for a while so nothing the family recorded is ever cut off the day a sponsor stops; after that the family's own plan rules apply. The Billing page names the sponsor when there is one. Families do not create sponsorships themselves; the organization or the platform does.
