The emails you get when you book a call or start a trial

Each email from the agency door comes once, at its moment, from our founder, and every reply is read by our founder. They are: a check when you start with a personal email, the welcome with your sign-in link, a thank-you when you book your demo call, a few reminders while no call is on the calendar, and a note before your trial ends.

Who they come from. Every email in this series comes from our founder's name at our usual sending address, and a reply goes straight to our founder. Each one is sent once, at its moment, never twice for the same moment.

When you book your demo call. Whether you book on our page or on our calendar directly, you get one email: Thank you for scheduling time for your demo call. The subject reads your first name and the call, for example Jewel & ExpressAgain | Agency demo call (or Practice, Hospital or Hospice demo call). When we know the time, the email says it in your own time zone and carries an invite.ics file you can add to any calendar; when we don't, it says no time at all, and the calendar invite from the booking itself carries it. If you move the call, you get one short note, Your call moved to the new day and time, with an updated invite. If you cancel, nothing more is sent.

Starting a trial with a personal email. If you start a free trial with a Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, Comcast or similar address, we check your agency before the trial opens, usually within one business day. You get one email, One quick check before your trial opens, with what you told us (your company, state and discipline) and three buttons: Yes, that's my agency; We don't have a business name yet; and I'm no longer interested. One tap records your answer; the last one asks once more before it closes your request. You can also just reply with your agency's website or business phone. The links work once and expire after two weeks.

The welcome. When your trial opens (at once with your agency's own email, or when we finish the check), the welcome is your sign-in email: Welcome to ExpressAgain, with a button to set your password and open your workspace, and a button to book your demo call within three days to keep your trial going.

Reminders while no call is booked. About a day after your trial opens, Pick a time for your demo call; about two days in, Your trial pauses tomorrow unless a call is on the calendar; and if the three days pass with no call, Your trial is paused, with the reminder that nothing you set up is lost. If a booked call is missed, We missed you today, with a button to pick a new time.

After your demo meeting. One email says your trial is open through a day. Three days before that day and one day before it, a short note says the same and offers a call to set up your agreement; on the day it ends, Your trial has ended, and nothing you set up is lost.

If you asked to book a call but didn't. A short nudge about a day later and a last one about three days later, then nothing more.

Stopping the reminders. Every reminder and nudge has a Stop these emails link at the bottom, and Gmail and Apple Mail's own Unsubscribe works too. That stops the reminders only: a booked call's confirmation and your sign-in email still come when they are due.

Step by step

  1. 1Book your demo call on the agencies page or start a free trial; look for the email from our founder.
  2. 2With a personal email, tap one of the three answers in One quick check before your trial opens, or reply with your website or business phone.
  3. 3Open the welcome email and tap the button to set your password and open your workspace.
  4. 4Add the invite.ics from the thank-you to your calendar if you like; reply to any email to reach our founder.
  5. 5To stop the reminders, tap Stop these emails at the bottom of one.
