Post a job. On Hiring in your organization panel (an agency's administrators and office), the top line reads how many jobs are open, how many people applied and how many are new. Post a job asks for a title, a role (the Marketplace's own list, from registered nurse to transportation caregiver, or any role you type), the employment type (full time, part time, per diem or contract), a pay line that shows only what you type and nothing when you leave it blank, the city, state and ZIP, the schedule (weekday days, weekday evenings, weekend days, weekend evenings, overnights, 24/7 or live-in), a description and the requirements. Post it opens it at once; Save as a draft keeps it to yourself. A job's row shows its status and its applicants by stage; opening it lets you edit it, close it or reopen it, and read its applicants.
Where people apply. Every open job is on three doors at once. Your careers page at /hire/ followed by your careers address (made from your agency's name; you can change it under Put your jobs on your website) lists every open job with Apply, and each job has its own page with the application form; this works with or without a website of your own. Your own website: Put your jobs on your website gives you two snippets to paste into any page. The listings embed shows every job you keep open and Apply opens the job page in a new tab (add ?apply=inline to the frame's address to show the form inside your site instead); the application embed is the form for one job. Both size themselves to their content, take an accent colour you choose, and read nothing from the visitor's ExpressAgain sign-in. The Marketplace: the Open care requests board carries Agency openings, every open job across the agencies on ExpressAgain, each opening your job page, where a professional signed in with a Marketplace profile taps Apply with my ExpressAgain profile to fill in the name, email, phone and credentials.
What applicants answer. The form is the one home care agencies already use: first and last name, email, phone, preferred contact (a call, a text or an email), the best time to reach them, the position, years of experience, the days and times available, credentials, driver's license, reliable transportation, certifications, a resume as a PDF or a Word file up to 5 MB, and anything else they want to say. Under the resume the form says: Do not upload identity documents, medical records or background-check reports. The applicant gets one plain receipt by email, and your agency's contact email gets one email per application with the name and the job, never the answers or the resume. Every public form runs through the same spam wall as the rest of the site, and no address can send more than three applications to one job in a day.
The pipeline. Applicants sits under your jobs with a chip per stage: New, Screening, Interview, Offer, Hired, Declined, each with its count. Tap a chip to list the people in it, and a person to open the application: every answer, Open resume (a short-lived signed link only your agency's administrators and office can open), your notes with who wrote each and when, the Stage select (forward along the pipeline, one step back, Declined from anywhere, and a declined applicant can be reopened), and Hire and invite to the team. Download CSV saves the people in the chosen stage with every answer.
Hire and invite. Hire and invite to the team marks the person hired and sends them your organization's own team invitation, the same email Team's Invite a team member sends, to the email on the application. They appear on Team as invited, join at the link with their own password, and from there everything on Team applies: the team file, the hiring forms, the shifts. Someone already on your team is marked hired without a second invitation. While a trial agency's demo call has not been held, inviting waits, as on Team; a preview organization's team limit applies here too. Hired is final on the pipeline; leaving is done on Team.
For the founder's CRM. When the signed outbound webhook is configured, every application is delivered as the event job.application.created with your careers address, the job title and the applicant's contact fields, documented in docs/crm-forwarding.md for the receiving side.
