Agencies: ending a professional's work and rehire status

When a professional's work with your agency ends, record whether they are eligible for rehire and why; your record stops your own invites, hires, adds to client homes and Marketplace matches, and never leaves your agency.

End their work. On Team, an agency's administrators see End their work… on each active professional (it was Disable). It asks Eligible for rehire? (Yes, No, or Only with review), and with No or Only with review the reason (No-show or quit without notice, Conduct, Safety concern, Performance, or Other) and why, under Why (private, never sent or shown to them). Ending their work turns off their access to every client at once, exactly as Disable did; their notes and history stay. Nothing is sent to them.

After the fact. Turn on Show disabled to see the people whose work ended. Each shows the rehire pill and See the note (the reason, the note, who set it and when, the edit history). Record rehire status or Change rehire status sets it for someone who ended before this existed, or corrects it; the version before is kept. The administrators and the office see these records; other professionals do not.

What it stops, in your agency only. Someone your agency marked Not eligible for rehire, matched by email or phone so a new account is caught too: Invite a team member is refused, an applicant on Hiring carries a red banner and Hire and invite to the team is closed, Re-activate is closed, your office can't add them to a client home, and the Marketplace leaves them out of your office's matches. Only with review shows the banner and asks you to type why you are going ahead before a hire, an invite or a re-activation; your reason is kept with the record.

What it never does. Your record does not follow the person to another agency or to a family, and it is never shared with another organization. The person is never told why. A family's own rehire records are never shown to your agency either.

The note is a private business record. Write it factually. It is not a background check and is never shared with anyone outside the home or agency that wrote it.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Team in your organization panel.
  2. 2On the professional's row, tap End their work…
  3. 3Answer Eligible for rehire? With No or Only with review, choose the reason and write why, factually.
  4. 4Tap End their work and confirm. Their access to every client ends; nothing is sent.
  5. 5For someone who already left: tap Show disabled, then Record rehire status on their row.
