Your service and pricing catalog

List the services your agency offers, give each one its own private-pay prices, put services together in packages, and choose what families see on your Marketplace profile.

Who sees it. Services & prices is in the left menu of your agency's workspace, after Billing, and Settings has a Service & pricing catalog card that opens it. It is for your Organization admins and your office (Office / scheduler, and an owner or administrator with no clinical work role), the same people who see Billing. A nurse supervisor or a professional does not see it, and families never see your catalog page.

Your first visit. If your agency profile in Settings lists the services you offer (companion care, personal care, homemaker, respite, and for a home health agency skilled nursing and therapy), the catalog starts with a draft for each one, with a description, the tasks it usually includes and who may provide it. Drafts are not active and have no price: open each one, set its prices and make it active. Skilled nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy appear only when your agency type includes home health.

The two tabs. Services lists each service with its category and its starting price (From, then the lowest rate of its smallest unit), or No price yet. Packages lists each package with its price and how it is billed (each week, each month or one time), and how many services it holds. Each service and each package opens on its own page.

A service's page. Name, category, description and the tasks included, one per line. Who may provide it: companion (no credential), CNA, home health aide, personal care aide, LPN, RN, the therapists and the others listed. Locations: the offices or areas that offer it, one per line. Default length and minimum visit, from 30 minutes to 24 hours. EVV applies: marks the service as one whose visits need electronic visit verification, a note for your office; the visits themselves are checked on your EVV page.

Price lines. A service can have several. Each line has a unit (hour, visit, day, overnight, live-in for 24 hours, or week), the private-pay rate, and if you use them a weekend rate, a holiday rate, an overnight rate and minimum hours per visit or per week. A line can carry a short name, for example Two clients in one home. Every amount is checked: an amount in dollars and cents, above zero.

Payer codes. The rates Medicaid, a managed care plan, Medicare, the VA or a long-term care insurer pay you stay on Billing, Rates. On a service's page, Payer codes lists those rates so you can tick the ones that belong to the service; nothing is copied.

Packages. A package puts services together at one price, for example Companion 20 hours a week, Respite weekend or Post-hospital first two weeks. Add each service with how many hours, visits or days, pick how it is billed (each week, each month or one time), enter the package price and what is and is not included. Compared with à la carte shows the same services at their own price lines, the package price, and what the client saves or how much more the package costs. Only your office sees this comparison; families never do. A package needs a price before it can be active.

Status and the Marketplace. Each service and package has Active and Show on the Marketplace. A price line has its own Show the price, and a package has Show the price, so you can list a service or a package without its price. Nothing from the catalog shows on your Marketplace profile until your agency is verified; after that, families see your active services and packages that you switched on, with only the prices you chose to show.

Done. The catalog counts as done when at least one active service has at least one price line; the line at the top of the catalog says what is next.

Saving. On a phone the Save button stays at the bottom of the screen on a service's or a package's page; it saves everything you changed there, including a price line or a package service you were typing.
