Bringing existing clients in

Bring existing clients opens three paths: Add a client, Connect an existing ExpressAgain care team, and Import a client list with a review step. All three lead into the same client onboarding page, and every record keeps its source.

Where it is. Clients, then Bring existing clients, or the Bring existing clients button on the Clients page. Pick one of the three paths at the top; each is its own form.

Add a client. The client's first name and last name are all that is needed; date of birth, phone, email, city, state, ZIP and a family contact are optional. Add and continue to onboarding makes an intake record at Client onboarding with the source Existing agency client and opens Bring the client into care. No account is created yet and nothing is sent; the patient or family connection comes at Start of care.

Connect an existing ExpressAgain care team. The homes where a family already gave your office a care-team code are listed with the client's first name, the city, who at your office holds the login and where it stands. Ask the family sends nothing anywhere: the family sees the ask on its Care team page and says yes or not now. On yes the office login keeps its id, so the client's identity, invoices, shift changes and agreement stay attached. Then Continue to onboarding starts the client record with the source Family invitation. A home not listed yet needs the family's 6-digit code entered first.

Import a client list. Upload or paste a CSV with one client per row. Review before creating reads it without saving anything and shows the columns found (first name, last name, date of birth, phone, email, city, state, ZIP, a contact's first and last name) and the headers it did not read; every row with Will be created, Likely duplicate (the same name and date of birth, or the same phone, as an intake record, a client already set up, or an earlier row of the file) or why it is skipped (a missing name, a date of birth that could not be read); and the counts. Create as imported drafts makes the rows it said it would, each an intake record at Client onboarding marked Imported draft, source Existing agency client. Duplicates are never created. Up to 500 rows per file.

Then the same onboarding. Every path lands on Bring the client into care, where you choose how the client's care will be managed. The sources kept for good are Marketplace client, Existing agency client, Referral or direct inquiry and Family invitation.
