Where the question is asked. Start client onboarding from a family's intake pages (or Continue onboarding from Clients) opens Bring the client into care: the source line first (the client, where the inquiry came from, the request, the intake stage, the contact), then How will you manage this client's care? You can make a different choice for another client.
A. Manage in ExpressAgain, recommended. Keep your team, the client's care, and family communication connected. Every week: the family sees the day, so your office stops being the information desk; each shift becomes the timesheet, the invoice and the payroll file in one record; Needs attention tells the scheduler what to fix today; credentials and the access log stay current; and the doctor's records come in with the patient's approval. The card lists what your agency gets (care tasks and the shift checklist, weekly schedules, visit notes and the team feed, Willie documentation, client billing) and the next steps: establish the client connection, review who will have access, continue into the existing agency setup and plan rules. After Review next steps, Continue to Start of care opens the existing Start of care page, where Create the client makes the account through Add a client. That is the moment your trial, plan and client-place rules apply, and never earlier: a prospective client never uses a managed place because a message arrived or a choice was saved.
B. Use our current software. Type the software you use (Which software do you use?), then tap Check compatibility or Request a connection. That makes a connection request with a status: Compatibility review requested, then Under review, Setup in progress, Connected or Connection unavailable, as ExpressAgain works through it; the status and any note from ExpressAgain show on the client's onboarding page and under Connection requests on Clients. A request is not a working connection. Marketplace conversations and the intake continue meanwhile. Your agency's software connection and a physician's EHR connection are two separate relationships.
C. Manage outside ExpressAgain. Spreadsheets, paper, or software without a connection. The arrangement is labeled on the record, the conversation and the intake history stay, and you can come back and choose Manage in ExpressAgain later.
D. Decide later. The intake draft stays open and the decision stays pending, with the next action Decide how the client's care will be managed, dated today.
The agency default. Tick Use this choice as our agency default for new clients to store the choice on your agency; Clients shows it and an administrator can change it there. It is read only when a new client's onboarding page opens, as the choice already selected. Individual clients can differ. Changing the default affects future setup only: it never moves an existing client, changes anyone's access or activates billing.
Switching. B and C can switch to A at any time. Once a client's account exists under Manage in ExpressAgain, the arrangement stays.
