Support communities on MeetMindz

Talk with other families going through the same thing, in groups on MeetMindz, a separate site with its own sign-up.

1 min readUpdated For: family, visitor

ExpressAgain does not host a community of its own. Support communities, in the menu right after Comeback Stories, is the door to the ExpressAgain Support community on MeetMindz, a separate community site, where families talk with other families going through the same thing. The community has a group for each of these: Brain tumor and glioblastoma families; Aphasia and stroke; ALS and Parkinson's; Dementia; Head, neck and throat cancer; ICU and recovery; Hospice and palliative; and Family caregivers. The groups' discussion boards, rooms and events are on MeetMindz.

The page has one button, Join on MeetMindz, which opens the community in a new tab. MeetMindz is a separate site with its own sign-up. Nothing from ExpressAgain is shared with it: the link carries no names, no ids and nothing about the patient. Share only what you're comfortable sharing in a group.

The page is on the Free plan, and the family and friends in the circle can all open it. A group is not the place for urgent help; in an emergency, call 911.
