Your welcome page and setting up

The account that runs the circle has a welcome page at /welcome: a short list of what is left to set up, each with one button to the page where you do it, plus three things to get started fast.

2 min readUpdated For: family

Who has it. The person who runs the account (the owner). It opens on its own the first time a new owner reaches Home, and after that the Finish setting up chip near the top of Home (for example Finish setting up · 2 left) opens it until every step is done. Family members and the caregiver role do not have this page.

The steps, and when each one is done. Each step is checked against what is really in the app, never a box you tick: Add the patient's basics is done when the patient's first name and date of birth are on Patient Profile; Invite family when an invitation went out from My People or someone has joined the circle; Add the Care Team (doctors, nurses) when there is a card under Doctors, nurses and clinics or a care team login; Set up the Home team when your first professional has joined (an invitation still waiting says so and is not done yet). Turn on notifications is optional: it is on the list but never counts toward the total.

The page. At the top, Let's finish getting you set up with how many are complete (for example 1 of 4 complete) and a bar. The steps still open come first, each with one short line and one button that opens the right page. Finished steps fold under Show completed. Get started fast has three shortcuts: Add a shift, Log a call or visit, and Add a medication.

Hide for now. At the bottom, Hide for now takes the chip off Home for seven days; the page itself stays at /welcome, and Show it on my home again brings the chip back at once. When every step is done the chip goes away for good, unless something stops being true (for example the last professional is removed).

Step by step

  1. 1Open Home and tap Finish setting up, or go to /welcome.
  2. 2Tap the button on the first open step and finish it on the page it opens.
  3. 3Come back: the step moves under Show completed by itself.
  4. 4Tap Hide for now if you want the chip off Home for a while.
