There are two places a door code can live. ExpressAgain can keep a professional's code in House entry, on their profile: encrypted, shown only when you tap Show and hidden again after twenty seconds, and signed for by the professional. Or you can keep codes only in your lock's own app, such as the Kwikset app for a Kwikset Halo. The Door access card on Home Team management, under Home Team & Rates, is the list that reminds you who has a code, wherever it is kept, and it never holds a code itself: for each professional (and any family member or other person you add), Has a code, No code or Not needed; the day the code was given; Every day, On a schedule, or Temporary until a day; the last time you checked; and a short note. A professional with a code in House entry shows Has a code · in House entry automatically, with the day House entry issued it, and a House entry link. Typing anything that looks like a code, four to eight digits, into the note, a name or the lock's name is refused with Keep the code in the Kwikset app — don't write it here. Dates such as 10/17 and times such as 7:30 are fine. House entry's own code field is not affected.
Four reminders come to the account owner and caregiver accounts, on the card, on the Notifications page, and as a phone notification for anyone who turned those on; a reminder never contains a code. When a professional who has a code is removed from the team: Remove their door code in your lock's app today. Done records No code and the day it was removed, and when their code is still on in House entry it also offers Delete the House entry code too, which turns it off there the same way House entry's Revoke does. When someone picks up an open shift and has no code for that day: give a temporary code for that day (in House entry or in your lock's app, when you use House entry), with Done, which records a temporary code until that day, or Not needed. When a temporary code's last day has passed: check it's gone. And every three or six months: Time to review who has a door code, with Mark reviewed. Each reminder shows once until it is answered, and Home Team management shows Door access with the number to do at the top.
Lock, review and EMS holds the lock's name, how often to review (every 3 months, every 6 months, or off; 6 is the default) and a box for EMS can get in. Write how EMS gets in, such as where a lockbox is or who to call, in the Notes on the Emergency plan card, never the code. A professional's profile shows the same one line above House entry. Professionals see nothing of this list.

- 3Choose Has a code, set Code given on and the kind (Every day, On a schedule or Temporary until a day), set Last checked, and tap Save.
- 4Open Lock, review and EMS to name the lock and choose Review codes every 3 months, every 6 months or off.
- 5When a reminder shows, make the change in House entry or your lock's app first, then tap Done (or Not needed, or Mark reviewed).
