The Getting started checklist

One next step at a time: app lessons, screening consents, tax documents, how you get paid, credentials, patient training, skills, the house code, the pay-release acknowledgment, then I'm ready to work.

Getting started is the first tab of your dashboard until it is done. It is one progress line, one next-step card with one button, and the rest as a quiet list with a status each — never a thousand things on one page. Three tracks: an independent professional the family hires directly sees every item; someone staffed by an agency skips tax and pay (that is the agency's business); a visiting clinician has fewer items.

The items: Learn the app; Screening consents (the disclosure, the authorization and, if the family requires them, the drug and credit consents, one per screen); Tax documents; How you get paid; Credentials; Learn about the patient (five pages read as a checklist); Tasks you've been trained on (for example the insulin document, signed); the Skills checklist the family assigned; the House entry code; and Documentation and pay release, which you acknowledge. When everything else is done, I'm ready to work appears — one button — and the dashboard lands on My shifts. The family can require clearance before you clock in; the header clock says Finish Getting started to clock in until then.
