ExpressAgainGames and Play has three gentle games — Memory Match, Word Match and Tic Tac Toe (the computer takes it easy) — with no timers, no grades and no losing streaks. Sing Along reads the lyrics of public-domain songs aloud. Her Music plays the family's own songs in the background across pages, so a shower routine can have its soundtrack; the mini-player follows you around the app.
Word Friends is our own turn-based word game, played by mail: make a word from your seven tiles, then it is the other person's turn. Tap-to-build means no typing, and there is no clock.
