Open, on a row of Patients (or the Panel), signs you into the care-team dashboard for that one patient, with Back to panel in the header. The badge at the top names your work role from your organization row: Doctor for a physician (MD, DO, NP, PA), Nurse, Speech (SLP), Physical (PT), Occupational (OT), Hospice, Palliative, EMS / CP, Chiro, Home health; a row with no recognised work role wears a neutral Care team badge. It never reads another discipline's name.
For a medical practice, a health system, a hospice, an EMS service or any organization other than a home care agency, the dashboard is the practice view: Today (Since your last visit, Today's schedule to read, the Team feed and Alerts), the patient's care (the day plan, Menu & Kitchen, Supplies, Eating Out, the music), About the patient (Patient info, Care targets & instructions, Health Tracking, Medications, Flow sheet, Doctor's records, Pharmacies, Reports, Emergency card) and Clinical (Assign exercise for a speech, physical or occupational therapist, Team assignments, Notes, Home recs, Team tasks, Log a contact, Log time), then Settings with My profile. There is no Clock in / Clock out, no Your shift today card, no My shifts, no My paperwork, no Billing & pay and no Getting started: a doctor's office does no shift work in the home. The server keeps to the same line: the clock, shift claims, the open-shift board, the shift checklist, agreement signing, document uploads, skills checklists and pay answer 403 practice_seat to a practice seat.
What a doctor can do stays: assign exercises, write notes and orders, propose a medication-list change, set care targets, read and post on the team feed, acknowledge alerts, log readings on Health Tracking, log a contact and log time. Opening the Targets, Reports or Alerts tab still ticks the organization's own Getting started steps on the Panel.
A home care agency's people keep today's full dashboard, with My shifts, My paperwork and Billing & pay: they work the family's shifts through ExpressAgain. A clinician the family invited with a code, with no organization seat, sees exactly what they saw before.
