The daily note: the app writes up her day for the feed

The daily note is a short, warm write-up of the patient's day that lands on the Family and Friends Feed, so people can see what is happening without anyone typing it out. It is written from the log — the glucose and blood pressure entries, the symptoms and events, the meal entries, the dose log, the steps done on her day, the home team's shifts, confirmed visitors, tomorrow's appointment — by fixed rules, never by a model, and every sentence comes from a logged entry. The name and pronouns follow the Identity setting.

There are two versions of the same day. The family version (the owner, the caregiver role and the family role) says readings in words against the family's own targets — a lower blood pressure day, blood sugar ran high — a missed dose, symptoms by their catalog name, a fall said plainly and kindly, and tomorrow's appointment. The friends version (the extended circle) only ever carries mood, energy, company, activities and meals in general words: never a number, a medication, a symptom name, a fall, blood, the hospital or the emergency room, and the app checks the text against that rule before it posts. When nothing was logged, the note says so: a quiet day at home, nothing new logged.

You run it from Settings, Family and Friends. Daily note is on by default and can be switched off. Post time is when it is written each day (8:00 PM to start). Review before it posts is on, and stays on, for the first seven days: the owner and caregiver-role accounts get an email that today's note is ready and a card at the top of the feed with both versions to edit, then Post or Skip today. After seven days you can let it post on its own at the post time. What friends may read is five switches — mood, energy, company, activities, meals — each on to start; readings and medications are never offered. Preview today's note shows both versions without posting anything.

On the feed the note appears as a post from Daily note, marked written from today's log: the family version on the Family Feed and the friends version on the Friends Feed, so a friend never sees the family wording. Everyone can react and comment under it like any other post, and the family can share their own photos of the day alongside it. Only the owner and caregiver-role accounts can remove it. The Status Board carries one line with the note's first sentence and a link to the feed.
