Sometimes one person works in your home two ways: part of the week on their own, with their own invoices, and part through an agency that bills you for those hours. That is two logins on your Home Team, and both stay. On the profile of either one, Same person, two logins lets the owner or a caregiver-role account choose the other login and tap Mark as the same person. Both rows on My Home Team then read Same person as, with the other login's name and whether it is independent or through an agency.
What it changes. While one login is on the clock, clocking in on the other is refused with the words: the person is already clocked in on the other login marked as the same person in this home, clock out there first. A shift typed in by hand, a shift whose times are changed, and Fix the time may not overlap a shift on the other login either; the answer says which shift is in the way. An overnight shift counts for every hour it covers, including when the pay week splits it at Monday midnight. Each shift belongs to one invoice, and a shift worked on one login can never be put on the other login's invoice.
What it never changes. Shifts and invoices already recorded stay exactly as they are; the person's independent invoices stay theirs, and the agency still bills for the agency login's hours. Unlink makes them two separate people again. The history under the card keeps who linked them and when, and who unlinked them and when.
Step by step
- 1Open My Home Team and one of the two logins' profiles.
- 2In Same person, two logins, open Mark another login as the same person.
