On the IDC Team feed, type @ in the box (or tap Ask someone) and a list opens with the people on this patient's team who can read the feed: the care-team logins, the practice's provider and anyone else from an organization who has access to the patient, and the family's owner and caregiver accounts. Each shows a name and a role or credential. Pick one and their name goes into the words, for example @Dr. Sample Doctor. The post shows the name marked so everyone sees who was asked. Replies under a post can mention people the same way.
The person mentioned sees it in the app: Mentions you on the post, For you at the top of the feed, the line on the care-team dashboard, the bell on the organization panel, or Mentions on the IDC Team feed on the Notifications page for the family. They also get one email per post that says only who mentioned them and where to sign in, for example Jordan mentioned you in a message on ExpressAgain. Sign in to read and reply. The email never carries the patient's name or any words of the message; those stay behind the sign-in. Someone who turned off Care-team feed notifications in Settings gets the notice in the app but no email.
When the person replies under the post, Reply to puts the asker's name in first, so the asker is told the same way.
Only people who can read this patient's feed can be mentioned. The server refuses any other name, and the post is not saved until it is taken out.
Whenever a mention is in the box, a quiet line reads: For anything urgent, call the office. For an emergency, call 911. The feed records and passes along what is written; it never gives medical advice, and it is not the way to reach someone in a hurry.
Quick links sit at the top of the feed: Prescriptions (Medications on the care-team dashboard), Health Tracking, and the patient's day plan when the family wrote one. Each opens the page or tab the viewer can open, and a link the viewer cannot open is not shown.
