Social Security numbers, bank details and door codes

Sealed at rest, shown masked, revealed only on a deliberate tap that is logged, and gone from the screen after a short countdown.

Sensitive values — a door code, a Social Security or EIN number, bank account details — are sealed at rest and never sent to the page with the record. They show masked (the last two or four digits). A deliberate Reveal tap fetches the value, the reveal is logged on the server, and the number leaves the screen after a short countdown: twenty seconds for a door code or a tax number, sixty seconds for the 1099 reveal. Full values reveal only to the family owner or the person the value belongs to.
