Your welcome page and getting set up

A Home team professional has a welcome page at /idc/welcome: five steps to finish setting up, read from your own Getting started and Ready to work, each with one button to where you do it.

2 min readUpdated For: professional

Who has it. A professional on the family's Home Team (an aide, a CNA, a nurse or a companion who helps at home), hired directly or placed by an agency. It opens on its own the first time a new professional reaches the dashboard, and after that the Finish setting up chip above the clock opens it until every step is done. A clinician on the Care team, the agency office and an organization's people do not have it.

The steps. They read the same records as Getting started, so the two always agree: Finish your profile (Getting started's profile, and the family's questions when they sent some); Credentials and Ready to work (your license if your role needs one, your CPR card and the background check, and nothing left on Ready to work, such as CPR due by a date or the family's approval; CPR inside its 30 days still shows as due, not done; with an agency the credentials are the agency's); Your availability (a calendar connected, your hours set, or a date you can't work); Training (the tour, the short courses and lessons, learning about the patient and the guided steps, with how many are done); See your first shift (open My shifts once a shift is scheduled, or a shift already worked).

The page. Let's finish getting you set up shows how many are complete and a bar; the open steps come first, each with one line and one button; finished steps fold under Show completed. Get started fast opens My shifts, Change my hours (on the shift itself in My shifts) and Open shifts. Hide for now takes the chip away for seven days; the page stays at /idc/welcome.

  2. 2Tap the button on the first open step.
  3. 3Finish it on the dashboard tab it opens, then come back to see it move under Show completed.
