Your office and schedulers in an agency organization

In an organization of the kind Agency, the work role Office / scheduler sees staffing across your patients: the panel, coverage, team posts, open shifts and who clocked in. It never sees readings, alerts, medications, notes, symptoms or the flow sheet.

At an agency, each person on Team has two things. The role says which patients they see: an Organization admin sees every patient, a Location admin their location, a Provider the patients they cover. The work role says what they see about them. Office / scheduler is staffing: the patients, who covers them, team posts, open shifts and invoices, never the health record. Every other work role is a clinical discipline, such as Nurse (RN / LPN) or Home health aide / CNA / companion, and sees what that discipline sees today. Anyone at an agency without a clinical work role sees staffing only, the owner or administrator included.

Invite from Team with Invite a team member. At an agency the form asks for the Work role, with Office / scheduler first. The four agency roles map like this: an owner or administrator is an Organization admin; an office person or scheduler is any role with the Office / scheduler work role; a nurse supervisor is a Location admin with Nurse; aides and nurses are Providers with their discipline. An administrator changes someone's work role later from the Work role on that person's row, and every patient's home follows at once. Nobody changes their own work role, and My account shows it without a way to change it.

What the office sees on the organization side. The Panel lists each patient with the location, the primary provider, coverage, unread team posts and the status, with no last reading, no open alerts and no readings count, and a line saying readings and alerts stay with the clinical team. The menu reads Team feed instead of Feed & alerts: team posts, open shifts posted and claimed, and your own people clocking in and out, never an alert, a clinician's note, a reading or a visit's findings. Reports shows the Organization summary only, who is enrolled where and how often patients were opened, without alert or reading counts. The field view, Log this visit, acknowledging alerts, the reimbursement estimate and in-home assessment requests are for your clinical people, and answer that the office does not have access.

Opening a patient. Open takes an office person into that patient's home in the office view, the same one a family's Home care agency code gives: the Office and My paperwork doors, with Team, Open shifts, Invoices, the agreement, documents and the team feed. Every clinical page refuses the office, and no reading alert, text or email reaches it. If that home already gave your office its own login under the same email, Open uses that login, with its team and invoices.

Your professionals in each home. When a family accepts your agency, every professional you placed on that client is linked to your office there, so Team lists them and their hours land on the office's invoice; several office people in one home act as one office and see the same team and invoices (Linking your agency to its client homes).
