Linking your agency to its client homes

When a family accepts your agency, your office and the professionals you placed are set up in that home, linked to your office's invoice; a home that already runs on a family-given office login joins with the family's yes, and keeps its login and its invoices.

When a family accepts your agency. The moment a family says yes to your organization's invitation, ExpressAgain sets up that home for your agency. Each of your office people (Office / scheduler, and an owner or administrator with no clinical work role) gets an office login in that home, with Team, Open shifts and Invoices, and the invoice lines from your Agency profile filled in where they are empty. Each professional you placed on that client, a Provider with an aide or nurse work role on its Coverage line, gets one login there linked to your office, so the Team tab lists them and their hours land on your office's invoice. A nurse supervisor opens with the nurse's tabs and is not put on the invoice. Someone joining your office later gets their office login in every home you serve, and the same happens when an administrator changes a person's work role to Office / scheduler.

One login per person per home. Anyone who already has a login in that home keeps it: the same sign-in, or the same email on a login the family made before. Nobody appears twice and nobody's hours are split. A login the family gave with its own code keeps the terms the family set; if the family made that person independent, they stay independent. Your office people act as one office in each home: every one of them sees the same team and the same invoices there.

Homes your office already works in. Some families gave your office its own login with the Home care agency code before your agency was an organization here. On Patients, Homes your office already works in lists them by the client's first name and city, with who at your office holds the login. Ask the family to link it sends nothing by email or text: the family sees the request on its Care team page and answers Yes, link it or Not now. On yes the same login joins your organization. Its id never changes, so the invoices it made, the shift changes stamped with your agency's name and its agreement stay attached, and the professionals the family linked to it stay linked. An administrator sees every such home your people hold; anyone else sees their own. The request takes a client place in preview, like any enrollment.

When it ends. The family can end your agency on its Care team page, and an administrator can archive the client on Patients. Either way the logins your organization made in that home stop working at once; a login the family gave with its own code is handed back exactly as the family made it, with the same invoices. Shifts, invoices and notes already recorded stay in the record. The family keeps full access for 60 days, 30 more while it looks for a new agency, and the place opens for another client.

Step by step

  1. 1On Team, give each person their role and work role; place professionals on a client from its Coverage line on Patients.
  2. 2The family accepts your invitation; your office and the professionals you placed are set up in that home.
  3. 3On Patients, open Homes your office already works in and tap Ask the family to link it for a home that runs on a family-given office login.
  4. 4The family answers on its Care team page; on yes the row reads Linked.
