The first time you open the organization panel, a short welcome says what you can do here: see the patients whose families added you, get alerts when a reading falls outside the targets the family entered, read reports and leave notes. Show me around turns on the guide; Skip for now closes it. Either way it does not come back.
Getting started sits on your Panel. It shows how many steps are done, for example 3 of 8, and each step checks itself off from what you actually do in the app. Complete your profile (name, credential, specialty or discipline, NPI if you want, and a phone for urgent alerts) is done when My account has them. Choose how alerts reach you is done when one of your patients' Alerts settings is changed from the default, or when you open a patient's Alerts tab or tap Keep these settings on My account. Open your first patient is done the first time you open one from the Panel. Check a patient's targets and when to call is done when you open the Targets tab; the family types your ranges and when-to-call instructions from your handouts, and you read them there. Read the weekly home summary or a report is done when a patient's reports open. Leave a note for the family or post in the team feed is done with your first note or post.
The seventh step depends on your organization. When its agreement is signed: Add a covering colleague or staff to a patient, done when a patient you are primary for has coverage (staff see Meet the providers you work with, done when Team is opened). In preview: Enroll a patient, with how many of the free enrollments are used, done when you enroll one; or, when none are left or you cannot enroll, Book a call to bring your whole practice on. The eighth step, turning on phone notifications on your phone, is optional: it is done when a phone is on for you (My account, Phone notifications), and it never holds up the rest.
Hide takes the checklist off the Panel; Guide, then Show getting started brings it back. When every step you can do is done it becomes one line: You're set up. Organization and practice administrators keep Getting your practice set up and also see Your own first steps beneath it, without the two steps the practice card already asks for.
