The weekly visit email

Once a week at most: how many updates there are for the patient since your last visit, the morning before a visit you booked, or Monday when none is booked — a count and a link, no health details.

1 min readUpdated For: clinician, professional

The email reads, for example, 8 updates for Sam since your last visit, with the date of tomorrow's visit when there is one and a button to Since your last visit on your dashboard. The number is the same count as the summary's heading, without the communication, checklist and Day lines the dashboard adds from its own screens. It uses the patient's first name only and never carries readings, symptoms, notes or medication names; the details stay in the app.

When it comes: the morning before a therapy visit you booked on the patient's Schedule, on the patient's clock (sent between 8 and noon). When you have no visit booked from today on, it comes on Monday morning. A visit booked further ahead than tomorrow waits until the day before it. It goes at most once a week per patient (Monday to Sunday), and not at all when nothing new was logged. Shift schedules are not visits for this email, so an aide without a booked visit gets it on Mondays.

It goes to the email on your login (Alerts, Where). Turn it off with the link at the bottom of the email (one button, no sign-in) or with the Weekly visit email switch on the Alerts tab; your alert choices are separate. The agency office never receives it, and a login the family removed receives nothing.
